DJ Aslan
As an artist, DJ Aslan is truly an intricate part of Church Boy Entertainment. Whether it is spinning for a particular artist, spinning with the band, or rocking a complete show by himself, Aslan is the one artist who does not have time for an offseason. All mixtapes and compilations are funneled through him and rightfully so. Aslan was nominated for DJ of the Year last year and we feel as though the industry is just getting to know him. DJ Aslan grew up in Simi Valley, CA, a suburb of Los Angeles, where music was plentiful. He began learning about turntables in 1993 and was engulfed in the art shortly thereafter. By 1996, he was beginning to compete in most local battles. He is honored to have entered large competitions such as the DMC World Competition and International Turntablists Federation. 2002 brought Aslan to take up a new home near Tulsa, Oklahoma where he connected with Church Boy Entertainment to bring music that is needed for this day and age.

Andre ''Lil' Dre'' McCoy is the definition of a ''true artist with true character''. Not only is Lil' Dre an extremely well-rounded performer, but he is a great individual with a personality that exemplifies what being a Church Boy is all about. Literally since day one, Church Boy Entertainment has been sold on his versatility and sees him as an essential weapon in their arsenal of artists. Furthermore, Lil' Dre is an excellent punch-line rapper that also has the natural ability to sing. Again, Lil' Dre is truly a ''versatile weapon''. With a unique flow and strong stage presence, CedEnough has found his calling and purpose in life – music ministry. As his life changed and he matured, so did his message. Ced changed his rap style from boasting about himself to boasting about Christ. “God has brought me through a lot, so I’ve got a lot to say, fam,'' he explains. Douglas Matlock
The most multifaceted member of our team, Doug Matlock is the newest artist to join the Church Boy Entertainment family. He began leading worship and playing other venues in 2001, though ministry through music has always been a passion and calling in his life. “I began writing songs a long time ago,” Doug says, “and whether they were good or not, I knew I wanted to write music that made a difference in people's lives.” Through music and other ministry, Doug has traveled all over the world sharing his gifts and songs with people in need. Writing about faith, love, fun, pain, and joy, Doug sincerely hopes his music helps lead others to Christ.

God used him to lay the groundwork necessary to make this a legitimate label. Some simply know him as an artist, but when it’s all said and done, his management ability will be what truly sets him apart. Cedric Hardimon remains one of the youngest CEOs in the music industry to move over 100,000 units through an independent label. His vision and direction for Church Boy knows no limits.
You have a question for Church Boy? Let me introduce you to Matt Adair. Instead of handling a microphone, Adair handles the business side. Since he is CFO/Co-Founder, it’s a business he knows a lot about. "God has really blessed Church Boy. I remember when it was merely a vision," he states. With his great sense of music and work ethic, Matt has stayed on the grind to make Church Boy what it is. Everything from the website design to a signed artist goes through him. So if you send in a demo and get a call back, you can take a wild guess who listened to it. "I’m looking forward to great things happening for the Church Boy family. God has made it very clear that His blessing has been on this from the very beginning. I’m excited to see Him do exceedingly more than I can ever imagine."
Literally . . . the person that took Church Boy Entertainment from a hobby to a growing and thriving business: Patricia Farewell came on the scene in 2004 and Church Boy hasn’t looked back since. If you hear any compliment on the “quality” of CBE, it’s because of Patricia’s influence. A musician herself, she prefers to stay behind the scenes as she handles a variety of tasks like drafting contracts for our artists, doing all major proofing, and helping with financial requirements. Because she believes in the power of the gospel through music, she has been here through thick and thin and was pushing for Church Boy Entertainment before Church Boy Entertainment was pushing for itself.
The “Ninja” of Church Boy Entertainment is Shane Luebbers-Jones: You know things are getting done, you just don’t see who is doing them. Shane is a utility person for Church Boy, performing roles that range from booking concerts, to coordinating our online promotion and previewing demos that come our way. He’s our “whatever you need” man. Shane has always had a passion to help reach people for Christ through music. That, combined with an upbeat personality to interact with the people, means Shane is the right fit for our team.
The individual that holds it all together: Everyone knows in order to have a great management team you need a great administrative coordinator – and we have just that. Trish Newton takes care of the daily accounting, as well as planning and booking for Church Boy Entertainment. Trish loves music and has years of experience in ministry working alongside her husband. CBE is blessed to have Trish Newton on staff with us.
